Nikolaus Habjan (*angefragt)
Director, puppeteer and puppet designer. Nikolaus Habjan studied musical theatre direction at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) under Prof. Michael Temme, Prof. Leo Plettner, and Prof. Paul Esterhazy, amongst others. He graduated with honours with his diploma production of Giancarlo Menotti’s ‚The Medium‘. Nikolaus Habjan worked at the Schubert Theater Wien, the Volkstheater Wien, the Bayerische Staatsoper, and the Schauspielhaus Zürich. The puppet theatre ‚Schlag sie tot‘, which he produced together with Simon Meusburger in 2008, was – just like it’s sequels – very successful.
