Elisabeth Schäfer is a philosopher at the department of Philosophy at the University of Vienna, where she has lectured since 2010. Her research and teaching areas are deconstruction, queer-feminist philosophy, Écriture feminine, writing as a form of artistic research, and perfromance philosophy. She regularly gives lectures, orchestrates lecture performances and interventions that are situated at the interface between philosophy and art.
